rand Master. Krishnan sasikiran was born in the year Jan 7 1981. He learned chess at the age of 10. After our Indian pride Viswanathan anand Sasi is the most respected player in India. He completed his education in Modern senior secondary school, Nanganallur, Chennai.
He is the second player from India to reach the Elo rating of 2700. He has participated in many Asian & world events for India. Now his current fide Rating is 2689(Sep 2011).
He earned GM Title at the World Common wealth championship in the year 2000. He won against Vishwanathan anand at Fide world cup championship 2002. To watch this game click the below link
He won the historic Hastings chess event in 2001 and the Asian championship in 2002.
While studying 10th std in Modern school he discontinued his education for his career and it paved him a Grand Master Title.
He has won against many good players.
